Composition

Each 5 ml contains:

Amoxycillin trihydrate ……………………………….. 229.5 mg

Equivalent to Amoxycillin …………………………….. 200 mg

Potassium clavulanate with syloid (1:1) ………. 67.9 mg

Clavulanic acid …………………………………………… 28.5 mg

Inactive Ingredients: 

Syloid, colloidal silicon dioxide, xanthan gum, succinic acid, sucralose, orange flavour powder, sodium citrate anhydrous, sunset yellow, avicel.

Therapeutic Indications

E-MOXCLAV is indicated for the treatment of the following infections in Adults and Children (see Dosage and Administration, Warnings and Precautions and Pharmacodynamic properties): 

Acute bacterial sinusitis (adequately diagnosed).

Acute otitis media.

Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis (adequately diagnosed).

Community acquired pneumonia.

Cystitis.

Pyelonephritis.

Skin and Soft tissue infections, in particular cellulitis, animal bites, severe dental abscess with spreading cellulitis.

Bone and Joint infections, in particular osteomyelitis.

Consideration should be given to official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents.
